If your Quotex bot stopped working between September and October 2026, it wasn’t just you. In that window the broker changed three things that broke almost every bot built on the pyquotex library — ours included. This post documents what happened, the symptom each change causes, and how the IaTraderPro Bot release of October 22, 2026 fixes each one. Everything was validated on a demo account, with the order accepted and the bot’s result matching the account’s official history to the cent.
The 30-second summary
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| HTTP 403 / “Websocket connection rejected” | Cloudflare now requires a real-browser TLS fingerprint | Connection switched to curl_cffi, which mimics Chrome |
| “Could not resolve host: qxbroker.com” | Quotex moved to a new domain | New host setting in the config (default quotex.com) |
| “ORDER REJECTED — Timeout” on every order | The broker rejects orders below its minimum amount | Fixed stake at the minimum by default |
1. WebSocket rejected with HTTP 403 (since Sept 1)
Symptom: login goes through, but when the bot opens the data channel it gets HTTP 403 on the WebSocket handshake — usually logged as “Websocket connection rejected”.
Cause: Quotex sits behind Cloudflare, and Cloudflare started checking the TLS signature of each connection (the JA3 fingerprint). Common Python libraries like httpx and websockets don’t look like a browser — so they get blocked.
Fix: the pyquotex copy bundled with the bot now uses curl_cffi, a library that reproduces Chrome’s TLS signature. The changed files are pyquotex/network/navigator.py and pyquotex/ws/client.py; all the reconnect/watchdog logic was kept. In practice: no browser window needs to stay open anymore — the Chrome bridge the previous version relied on is retired. instalar.bat installs the new dependency.
2. “Could not resolve host: qxbroker.com” (from ~Oct 9)
Symptom: the bot restarts in a loop and the log says the broker’s address doesn’t exist.
Cause: the old qxbroker.com domain went offline — and it was hard-coded in the library’s login module, so you couldn’t even change it from the config.
Fix: the address now comes from a setting in config_bot.ini, and both login and candle download use it:
If Quotex changes domain again, it’s one line: use a live domain that has both the login site and the data server ws2.<domain>, then restart the bot.
3. Every order “rejected by Timeout”
This was the sneakiest one. The bot connected, generated a signal, sent the order — and it always ended in ORDER REJECTED — response: Timeout, never showing up in the account history.
Reading the broker’s raw WebSocket response revealed the real reason:
In other words, Quotex rejects orders below its minimum amount — 5.00 on the BRL account we tested (check the minimum for your account currency). A percentage-based bankroll plan on a small account was sending 4.47 and getting silently rejected. The library doesn’t handle that error reply and waits 125 seconds before reporting “Timeout”, which hid the cause.
Fix: the bot now ships with stake_tipo = fixo (fixed stake), stake_fixo = 5.0 and the percentage plan turned off. Only turn the plan on with a bankroll big enough that the percentage never drops below the minimum.
🟢 To run the bot you need a Quotex account
The demo account is free, needs no deposit, and it’s exactly the account the bot is configured to trade on.

What still isn’t perfect
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| After an internet drop, the dashboard says “connected” but candles freeze | The reconnect can come back unauthorized. Restart the bot — the watchdog usually does it within minutes |
| A rejected order still shows as “Timeout” | Check the stake (broker minimum) and the minimum payout |
| The external Deriv signal feed is unstable | The bot automatically falls back to Quotex’s own feed |
The honest warning that comes with it
These fixes make the bot connect and execute. They don’t create a profit edge. The 30-day simulation we ran on Oct 13 over Quotex’s own candles did not find a strategy with a stable edge — and that’s written in the bot’s changelog, not just here. At an 87% payout you need a 53.5% win rate just to break even, and with a minimum stake per order a small bankroll can only absorb a few losses in a row.
That’s why the new version ships two simulators: sim_amanha.py, which tests all 15 strategies the way the bot actually trades (2-candle expiry, morning window, train/test split), and sim_semanal.py, which shows the win rate week by week — so you can tell when a “good result” was just one lucky week. Stay on demo until you have your own evidence.
How to install the new version (5 steps)
- Install Python 3.12 or 3.13 and tick “Add Python to PATH” (older versions can’t run the new connection).
- Extract the zip to a simple folder (e.g.
C:\IaTraderPro, outside OneDrive/Drive) and double-clickinstalar.bat. - Double-click
iniciar_painel.bat— the dashboard opens in your browser (English is available in the sidebar). - Enter your Quotex login in the sidebar. No account? Open the free demo.
- In 🧪 Lab, download 30 days of candles and run the simulation before starting the bot with
iniciar_tudo.bat.
